ECI’s 7th birthday party was simply an evening where old and new friends got together and chilled out. As guests started streaming promptly at 7pm, you can hear bursts of excited greetings between friends whom have not seen each other in a long while.

At 8pm, the programme flagged off with our zany hosts from Wave 11, Alex Linh and Xin Tian who made the crowd bend over with laughter. Amidst the joyous atmosphere, Mei Yee, our GM welcomed everyone with a short speech and of course, Kelvin addressed the crowd and appreciated all for their support for ECI.
The stage was then transformed as the Wave 13 leaders took over in their cheery checkered shirts in assorted colours. The hidden drama/singing talents in Wave 13 were unleashed as Sherman, Addaline, Yiru, Belle, Crys and Fengyi took on solo parts while the rest of the Wave 13 blended in, singing “I’m a Believer” in acapella. They definitely WOWed the crowd. Thank you Wave 13 for the efforts they have put in to practise for the performance and for the teamwork and coordination they showed as a wave.
After all that, it was time for the audience to be part of the action and to receive some great prizes worth up to $3000! The first game show segment was hosted by Teng Nging and Sihui where 5 groups of participants had to answer questions about ECI and different movies. There were questions such as, “What is the password to ECI’s wifi connection?” or “Did Neo take the blue pill or the red pill?” Eventually, we had 4 lucky winners – Sherman won a $50 voucher from Dean Creation while Zhi Sheng, Chelsea and Yu Rong each won a $20 voucher from The Naked Room.

Finally, in the grand lucky draw, Dorothy and Theresa each walked away a voucher to the Power Memory Coaching Program worth $688 while Judy won the grand prize of a voucher to the Clarity Circle Program worth $997. The night ended with a huge birthday cake and more time to chill out together over a newly released movie, In Time.
