Now what we want to do is to impart the technique and the structure being what coaching really is.
Coaching enables—through a process of discovery, goal setting and specific action steps—the realization of extraordinary results. Coaching is inter-developmental in that the collaboration develops both the client as well as the coach.
Coaches, however, do not advise.
Coaches enable a client’s self-discovery and empower them by drawing from their own creativity and resourcefulness to cause their results, thereby increasing their client’s ability, self-confidence and self-esteem in the process. Because clients are able to generate their own solutions and actions, they can repeat their success in the future
Its focus is in resolving the past, whereas the focus of coaching is on understanding the past as the context in which future goals are set.
A responsible coach knows when it is useful to look at the past in order to identify the source of their client’s limiting beliefs before moving into solutions, action, accountability and follow-through sessions.
This program is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), which is the leading global organization for coaches with more than 22,000 members in over 100 countries. This means your certification will be recognized worldwide, should you wish to coach anywhere in the world.
The Professional Coach Training Program™ gives you the ability to connect with people at a deeper level. It allows you to assist them to engage in self-discovery, creating breakthroughs, while finding their own solutions to challenges. This program is aimed to set you on the path towards being a successful coach.
Other qualities that you can develop to become an exceptional coach are acute observational skills, self-awareness, self-discipline, and a sense of ownership and responsibility. Above all, a responsible coach has a real desire to make a difference in people’s lives, including their own.
Many of our trainees come from related developmental professions such as consulting and counseling. They have found coaching to be a valuable addition to their repertoire of existing skills, which gives them wider options and coverage when working with clients.
Upon completion of the relevant modules and meeting ICF criteria, you will gain a credential that will be recognized worldwide. This assures you and your clients of the quality of your work, and you’ll be more confident to know that your coaching and rack rates are benchmarked against an internationally acclaimed standard.
These experiences cannot be achieved from web-based learning, which are great for knowledge, but lack the impact and immediacy of live feedback during your coaching drills, which will be crucial for coach training.
The dynamism in our programs are also why our trainees are able to get credentialed in half the industry time.
We’ve found that on-the-ground experience and real-time feedback from trainers are the best ways our participants can entrench their learning.
That said, you’ll find that because of your training with ECI, you’re equipped with the necessary skills to deliver an exceptional coaching experience with your clients with proven results and ROI, leading to increased referrals for your business.
Associate Certified Coach (ACC) – 100 client coaching hours
Professional Certified Coach (PCC) – 500 client coaching hours
Master Certified Coach (MCC) – 2,500 client coaching hours
At ECI, we are able to prepare you up to the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation. This requires you to complete all 4 modules of the Professional Coach Training Program™ and pass a 30-minute coaching exam.
If you wish to get credentialed at the ACC level only, you can go through the ASCTH route, where you complete Modules 1 and 2 of the Professional Coach Training Program™ and receive 3 hours of mentor coaching. The ASCTH route does not qualify you for a PCC credential.
Each credential level is valid for 3 years. Renewals are possible with Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units.
Detailed requirements for the different credential levels can be found on the ICF website.
The PCTP is conducted over 4 modules that typically take around 6 months to complete. Throughout, you will benefit from face-to-face interactions with our internationally credentialed coaches.
Participants who complete all 4 modules and pass the final examination would receive an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) certificate, which would support you in your application for your Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and/or Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential with the International Coach Federation.
